With money and business in very tight constraints, I think it is important to hire a photographer who has been in the trenches. Who wants to work with you to develop the easiest work flow that will not compromise quality, yet will deliver what we all want. Quality that is done right the first time and on a budget that makes sense for the project. Since I have been a photographer for over 20 years,and I have shot every possible type of photography, I have developed an approach that is different for each type of photography. I have used every type of camera, from an 8×10 to 4×5, to the digital camera I currently use. I am extremely proficient in PhotoShop, but I don’t use it to cover up mistakes, but rather as a way to streamline production. For instance, Photoshop can correct the problems with parallax in architectural photography easier, and better than the swings and tilts of a view camera. And I do believe the verticals should be vertical in an architectural shot.
