Editorial photography is difficult in that a story often needs to be told as succinctly as possible. I have shot for magazines all over the United States, I have published a book on Nashville,TN called City in Harmony, won a first place national award for the Best Cover for City Magazines, and I have worked monthly with national as well as local creative directors for magazines to bring them their vision within their budget. I know how to shoot for books, magazines,annual reports, and newletters. It is a different vision that is required for a business magazine, than for a lifestyle magazine, or a corporate annual report, or even a convention newsletter, but what they all have in common is how much information needs to be conveyed with a single photo.
